Gaming industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. Brad is the founder and CEO of Blind Squirrel Entertainment, a Star Wars fan, and proud supporter of Arsenal Football Club.
With more than 20 years of experience in media, entertainment and technology (virtual reality, online games, animation, studio operations, studio planning, internet start-ups) Ken has developed broad and deep knowledge of finance and operations domestically and internationally from the standpoint of what needs to be accomplished and how you make it happen.
Dr. Mark Ollila
Dr. Ollila has considerable experience in driving innovation and new technologies for the Media Technology and Entertainment industries. He is currently General Manager of Devices at Verve, a leader in mobile location-based advertising. Prior to this, Dr. Ollila was at Nokia and Microsoft where he played an integral role in the development and roll-out of Nokia’s services and long-term technology roadmap, including heading up Nokia’s first party publishing business which had global reach in the hundreds of millions.
He was also a core member of the deal team for Nokia and Microsoft in the strategic agreement in 2011. Dr. Ollila is a member of Southern California’s start-up incubator EvoNexus’s selection committee and an expert in residence at UC Irvine Applied Innovation. He also serves as an advisor to multiple companies in entertainment, games and new technology; previously serving on the advisory board of the Game Developers Conference (Mobile) and, until 2010, was a board member of the EMEA Chapter of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum. He was Chairman of the Board of Physics Middleware provider Meqon Research AB (acquired by Ageia and then NVIDIA).
Massoud is a CPA and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He has over 40 years of Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance experience having led many financings and IPOs of technology focused companies over his 27 years as a Managing Partner at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and for the past 17 years acted as a Principal and Investor as a Managing Director of TL Ventures LP, an early stage venture capital firm with 6 sequential funds and over $1.2 Billion under management and Zenith Equity Partners. He also has operational experience as the COO of Prime Focus, a multi-Oscar winning Global Services Company to the media and entertainment industry.
Bill Amon, the Office Managing Director of Andersen Tax’s Los Angeles office, has over 30 years of experience in corporate and international taxation. He advises corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies on a broad variety of business and tax matters.
Jim Beck was CEO of Nature’s Best, a wholesaler/distributor of natural and organic food products, from May 2005 until August 2014 when the company was sold to strategic, KeHe Distributors. As the Chief Executive, Mr. Beck was responsible for strategic planning, geographic expansion and business development. He also served as the company’s Chief Information Officer, setting IT direction, prioritization, and oversight of project management.
As a member of Latham & Watkins LLP, David Ajalat’s practice covers a broad range of general corporate, securities, and transactional matters, including venture capital financings, corporate reorganizations, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other financing and liquidity events.
As a member of Latham & Watkins LLP, Chris advises companies, venture capital investors, private equity firms and strategic acquirers in a broad range of corporate transactions with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financings. His clients are primarily in technology and other high growth industries including software, digital media, mobile and consumer Internet.
